Cool Edge AC & Appliances was established in 2018 by Christopher and Erica Fernandez. Erica grew up in the industry when her parents started Kassel Appliance & AC Repair in 1999. Her father, Mr. William Kassel, was working for an air conditioning and appliance company for 15 years when he decided it was time to start his own company.
He wanted to be the change in the industry, to do what was right by the customer and provide honest services. Her parents started from the bottom with a single van and a cell phone, running service call by service call, building and growing the customer base we have today.
Erica started working with the family owned and operated business in 2012. Christopher switched his career path and joined the team in 2013, training under Mr. Kassel for a few years. He saw the vision Mr. Kassel had and wanted to be a part of it!
After completing his certifications, he was ready for his own service vehicle. In 2021, Mr. Kassel retired and passed the business along to his daughter and son-in-law to continue his vision of providing excellent and trustworthy service at affordable pricing to the Tampa Bay Area. He believed in taking care of the customer and listening to their needs and wants, instead of the traditional high pressure sales we see in so many companies.
Today, Cool Edge has a handful of service vehicles that cover the Tampa Bay Area, including Hillsborough, parts of Pasco County, and parts of Pinellas County and we continue to grow each day by providing outstanding service and doing what is best for the customer. We also work with many property management companies across the bay.
